This privacy policy explains how Delprete Imports collects, uses and protects personal data.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
2. Collection and processing of personal data
When you visit this website, technical data may be processed automatically. This includes in particular:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- browser used
- operating system
- pages visited
This data supports the safe and reliable operation of the website.
If you contact Delprete Imports by email, telephone or another means, the data you provide will be processed. This may include:
- first name and surname
- company
- email address
- telephone number
- address
- content of your message
This data is used to handle your enquiry and answer any follow-up questions.
Size advisor and quotation request
When you use the size advisor, we store the furniture dimensions entered, the calculation result, the language, the time and a technically generated transaction identifier. If you voluntarily request a quotation, we also store your name, email address, the quantity required and, optionally, your company and message.
The information is stored in a Google Sheet controlled by Delprete Imports and used solely to provide the calculation, prevent duplicate submissions, limit misuse and process your quotation request. When you request a quotation, an internal notification is sent exclusively to info@delpreteimports.ch .
Google processes the data as a technical service provider. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy. You can use the calculation without requesting a quotation; your name, email address and the quantity are required only for the voluntary quotation request.
3. Purposes of data processing
Personal data is processed in particular for the following purposes:
- handling enquiries, quotes and orders
- communicating with customers and business partners
- fulfilling deliveries and managing business relationships
- maintaining customer contacts
- fulfilling legal or contractual obligations
- ensuring the technical operation of the website
4. Disclosure to third parties
Personal data is disclosed only when necessary to fulfil an order, when required by law or when there is a legitimate interest.
These may include, in particular, technical service providers, hosting providers, and shipping or logistics providers.
Personal data is not sold and is not passed on for advertising purposes without a reason.
5. Storage and security
Personal data is retained only for as long as required for the stated purposes or by statutory retention obligations.
Delprete Imports takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration.
6. Cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
This website uses technically necessary settings required for safe and reliable operation. They cannot be disabled through the consent banner.
With your voluntary consent, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The service helps us understand how our website is used so that we can improve its content and navigation.
This may involve processing information about the browser and device, pages viewed, time and duration of the visit, interactions, the previously visited page and approximate location. Google states that IP addresses of visitors from Switzerland and the EU are used only briefly to determine an approximate location and are discarded before logging. After your consent, the first-party cookie _ga may store a randomly generated identifier.
Google Analytics is activated only when you select “Accept all cookies” in the cookie banner. Choosing “Necessary cookies only” does not affect your use of the website. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect through the cookie settings and delete cookies already stored in your browser.
Google may also process data in countries outside Switzerland. Google cites, among other mechanisms, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for such transfers. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
With your voluntary consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity. Using cookies and similar technologies, the service records usage data and interactions such as clicks, scrolling behaviour, heatmaps and session recordings. We use this information to better understand and improve our website. Microsoft Clarity is activated only when you select “Accept all cookies” in the cookie banner. Storage for advertising purposes remains disabled. Further information is available in Microsoft’s privacy statement.
7. External services and embedded content
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity as external analytics services, only with your consent. Details are provided in section 6.
The demonstration video on the product page is loaded from YouTube only after a deliberate click. This establishes a connection to YouTube or Google. Data transmitted may include the IP address, browser and device information, the page viewed and the time of access. The video is embedded via the more privacy-friendly domain youtube-nocookie.com . Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
On the product page, we display locally stored previews of Instagram Reels. Only when you deliberately click a Reel is the content embedded directly from Instagram and a connection established to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Data transmitted may include the IP address, browser and device information, the page viewed and the time of access. If you are signed in to Instagram, Instagram may associate the visit with your account. Further information is available in Instagram’s privacy policy.
8. Rights of data subjects
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you have in particular the right to:
- information about personal data being processed
- correction of inaccurate data
- deletion of data no longer required
- withdraw consent previously given
- restriction of or objection to certain processing, where permitted by law
Requests may be sent at any time to the contact address stated above.
9. Changes to this privacy policy
Delprete Imports may amend this privacy policy at any time.
